JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) prepares to release the Convertible Bonds before the end of 2018. The bond will be issued in order to anticipate the effect of instability financial system in the future.
Director of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) Ahmad Siddik Badruddin Said the management need approval from the shareholders to release the Connvertibel Bonds. “Bank Mandiri, one of 11 bank that determinated as systemic bank, that have to release the bonds to anticipate the effect of unstable financial system,” he said in Jakarta.
Based on OJK regulation No.2/POJK.3?2018 on Determination of Systemic Bank and Capital Surcharge, about 11 banks was determinated to release the convertible bonds.
“The instruments and forms details still in study phase by the company's,and then maybe before by the end of the year we will inform the public about the details of the bonds that capitals characteristic,” he said. (LK)
